Why Camputee Press?

All our of production happens in-house, guaranteeing a quality product. We guide our clients from the beginning of a project through the end. What’s the story behind the name?

In the 1990’s, there was a band called  “The Angry Amputees”. Fronted by quadruple amputee John Dalton (hence the name) the band founded their headquarters smack in the middle of San Francisco’s SOMA district and affectionately named the space “camputee”.  When guitarist Eric Gonzales began a screen printing business in the same space, he decided to name the company Camputee Press as a tribute to the time spent together as a band.
